AliAsghar.

I am Ali, a backend software engineer who builds systems that connect things together. I graduated from LUMS with a BS in Computer Science, and I specialise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and scalable backend services.

I enjoy the problems that sit where data, architecture and reliability meet: designing pipelines across dozens of APIs, building serverless systems on AWS, writing graph queries, and working out how to make things fail less.

Tectyra came out of that work. Too many products are lost not to bad ideas but to bad architecture chosen on day one, and then compounded. That's the part I take ownership of.

Outside of client work I go deeper on AI and ML (two AWS certifications and counting), build side projects, and contribute to open source, with merged pull requests across repositories including Prometheus, Apache Airflow and Backstage.
